2001 Summer Pride Tour - Minneapolis, MN
(Part 2) Seeing the Sights
We had some sight-seeing time in Minneapolis and took a walk across the bridge and past the only waterfall on the Mississippi River. We also happened across a very interesting Museum-
The Museum of Questionable Medical Devicies

We actually must RAVE about this experience. We had TOO MUCH fun!
We HIGHLY recommend visiting there when you are in the Twin Cities!!
Check out the following poster for one the of
items on display in the Museum...
The "Recto-Rotor" was a real device- just look at how happy it made these people in the poster!
You gotta read this:

Notice that the device is patented and is shown "actual size". Hmmmmm!
"Large Enough to be Efficient- Small Enough for Anyone Over 15 Years Old!"
"It is used in the privacy of one's own home" Well I should HOPE so!
Keep reading- you won't believe it!

Cause no one wants "flabby muscles of the anus"!!!!
Also notice the diagram above...
I see the bladder... I see the testis... I see the rectum... I see the scrotum... I see the kidney...
WHERE IS THE PENIS?????
I also see the prostate gland- otherwise known as "The Vital Spot" (How true!)
And can anyone tell me where I can purchase some "EZO UNGUENT" ?????

As this copy states "there are thousands of people in this country, in fact, throughout the world, who bless the day that brought to them this message contained herein and have found HEALTH and HAPPINESS and COMFORT." Doesn't Dr. Lamothe have a look of contentment on his face after inventing this device. One can only imagine him testing all the early versions- to find just the right size- just the right "knurled head"- just how much UNGUENT is needed.
And check out that guarantee-- benefit in one week or your money back!
Where do I get one??? Can I buy the patent for this???

This device uses Phrenology-
measuring the bumps and ridges on your head to predict your personality traits.
They asked if anyone would like to try it- so, of course, Steve volunteered.

Actually- it was very acurate! It said Steve was creative, musical, travels alot, etc.

Our musuem host explaining some other devices.
We saw him later at the Gay Pride Festival-- we are everywhere!
